LOS ANGELES, Jan. 7, 2022 -- The Wound Pros is excited to announce Yen Le as the newly appointed Head of the Clinical Department. Specializing in treating and managing chronic non-healing wounds in long-term care facilities, The Wound Pros is dedicated to providing comprehensive solutions. As part of their commitment, the company collaborates with facilities to offer advanced wound care dressings for acute and chronic wounds while also providing valuable wound care education for staff members.

Yen Le

Yen Le is a highly qualified professional, holding a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from California State University Los Angeles and a Master's degree in Nursing from the University of California, Los Angeles. With extensive experience in the field, she has worked as a Registered Nurse since 2012 and has advanced her career as a Nurse Practitioner since 2016. Her board certification further reinforces Yen Le's expertise as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Yen embarked on her career in the healthcare industry by specializing in home health wound care alongside Inpatient Telemetry. She then transitioned to Nursing Research and then spent four years in Family Medicine. In 2020, she joined The Wound Pros to focus on Wound Care and Podiatry. Yen has achieved significant milestones throughout her journey, including being recognized as a Song Brown Fellow and HRSA Scholar. Additionally, she has served as a fellow of the UCI/UC Davis Train New Trainer Primary Care Psychiatry program. Currently, Yen Le holds the position of Secretary for the Greater Pasadena Chapter of the California Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Yen has collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams consisting of doctors, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals throughout her tenure at The Wound Pros. In her role, she actively facilitates clinical case conferences, leveraging her expertise to mentor and guide fellow wound care professionals toward achieving high levels of performance. Yen's personal work philosophy revolves around the mantra "Be the best you can be at all times, without exception."

In her role as the Head of the Clinical Department at The Wound Pros, Yen Le brings extensive expertise encompassing wound care, podiatry, internal and family medicine, psychiatry, dermatology, and research. Her experience extends to diverse patient populations, including the homeless and underserved communities. Yen is proficient in conversational Spanish and is fluent in Vietnamese and English, enabling effective communication and care across multiple languages.
