Wound Pros Management Group Inc and its affiliates (collectively, “Wound Pros”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) defines how we treat the Personal Information that we collect, store and use from persons (“you”) in connection with communications initiated on and offline while providing products and services.
This includes but is not limited to the use of the VOIP and SMS/MMS capable Service (“Service”), which we make available to you through a third-party service provider.
This Policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service and any changes are effective as soon as posted. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy and any changes thereof. Wound Pros reserves the right to modify or change this Policy at any time with or without prior notice. The date of the last update will be posted at the top of this Policy for your convenience.
“Personal Information” is information that individually identifies you, such as: (1) Your mobile phone number (2) Caller identification (3) user/screen name, (4) any identifiable information included in messages sent through the Service, or (5) the contents of messages that you send to other users of the Service.
What Personal Information is collected
Through the use of the Service, Wound Pros has access to the personal information from our third party service provider. This Information is collected when you make contact with us by calling or sending a message to any user account associated with Wound Pros. The Personal Information collected can be; any caller identification, user or screen name that is visible and/or selected in connection with the Service, as well as any comments or feedback regarding the Service that you send to us.
How Wound Pros uses Personal Information
We use Personal Information to (a) provide you with the Service, (b) process and respond to inquiries, (c) improve the Service, (d) if necessary, contact you with important announcements or messages, (e) conduct research, and (f) provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients and partners. Each message that you send through the Service (either to us or to other users of the Service) is stored on our servers. Wound Pros utilizes servers and services owned by third parties.
Disclosure of Personal Information
No Personal Information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All of the aforementioned categories do not include data regarding the opt-in or opt-out status of SMS/MMS messaging originators and their associated consent. This information will remain confidential and will not be shared with any third parties. Message and frequency may vary.
Security
Wound Pros implements measures to safeguard the security of your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized individuals, including hackers, will not gain access to your data despite our best efforts. It is important to recognize that when using our service, your information may be transmitted through third-party infrastructures—such as SMS delivery platforms or carrier networks—that are not solely managed or controlled by Wound Pros. Consequently, we cannot protect, nor does this policy apply to, any information you share with other users. We strongly advise against transmitting personal or identifying information to other users.
Opting in
A mobile user may choose to opt in through several methods: by entering their phone number online, sending a Mobile Originating (MO) message that includes an advertising keyword, or completing a paper form that provides their phone number or email address. It is important to note that carriers are not responsible for any delays or non-delivery of messages. Standard message and data rates may apply for communications sent to and received from us. For inquiries regarding your text or data plan, it is advisable to reach out directly to your wireless provider.
Opting out
Wound Pros’ third-party service provider allows you to opt out of the Service at any time for any reason. To do so, simply send a text message with the word “STOP.” Upon receiving your SMS message, we will confirm your unsubscription with a follow-up SMS. After this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS communications from us. Should you wish to rejoin, you can sign up again as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you. Standard message and data rates may apply for communications sent to and received from us. For inquiries regarding your text or data plan, it is advisable to reach out directly to your wireless provider.
Intended Audience
This Service is intended for medical professionals, employees, and contractors employed by Wound Pros or otherwise contracted by our customers or employed in or otherwise contracted to operate in facilities supported or managed by our customers and for patients, patients of our customers, or patients of facilities and medical practices supported or managed by our customers. This Service is not intended for any children under the age of 18 without the permission of such children’s parents or guardians.
